Searching For Concert Listings

No matter what kind of event you want to go to, you have to find concert listings to see when your favorite act might be coming to your area, and where they will be performing. Depending on what act you want to see, you may be able to find out about concert dates months in advance, and in some cases, the concert listings will only appear a mere few weeks beforehand. You may be able to find preliminary concert listings for our favorite acts, but don’t get your hopes up until the dates are confirmed. Many people have walked away disappointed because they didn’t wait for confirmation. Concerts fall through for all sorts of reasons, and you just never know.

You can go to the acts website for the most comprehensive concert listings and updated information. These websites are often the first place to list dates, and can give you more information than anyone else. You may also find out that you can find this information on various fan sites, but make sure you remember that this information can at sometimes be wrong. Fan sites don’t update as often as official sites, so they may not be up to date with changes in the concert listings.

You can turn to Ticketmaster for concert listings, but Ticketmaster can be tricky. They at times only list concerts a few days before they go on sale. If you are on a tight budget and have to save for that special concert you want to attend, this may not give you enough time to get things around. These concert listings are often incomplete as well, because not all venues sell on Ticketmaster. Some venues use other sites like Tickets.com to sell their tickets. Colleges sometimes sell tickets exclusively through their own websites. So remember to look everywhere before you give up on finding a concert in your area.

If you are waiting for a certain tour, but you can’t seem to find concert listings that are detailed and filled out, you can always call your local venue to see if they know anything. This won’t ways work, however, because some venues will not give out any information until the concert listings have been confirmed. If you are lucky, they may tell you that they are in talks with a certain act, and it looks like they may be coming, but nothing has been confirmed yet. At least that way, you can keep checking back for the confirmed concert listings at a later date.
